Following successful debut singles in 2021 with radio play & live sets on George FM, Brown Sugar Factory's new EP Halina't Sumayaw has been immediately embraced across Aotearoa & the globe with their EP release show selling out overnight.

Playing live, Brown Sugar Factory are pure versatility in their craft. With a DJ house back beat, 5 part harmonies, choreography, a live bass groove and a Nile Rodgers funk strum; these seasoned and talented musicians showcase pure energy on any stage. With their own refined flavour of live sugar, BSF garnish a combination of original songs and clever reworks of classic and modern hits. Last new year Brown Sugar Factory debuted a mainstage slot at a sold out AUM festival in Auckland's North Head for a 5,000+ strong crowd followed by a North Island EP Release tour across the country. In 2022 They have been booked as feature sets at Nelson Arts Festival & Vegan Vibes Fest in Tauranga.

In the tail end of 2022 Brown Sugar Factory have released a new music video for their EP single 'Funkfessions Pt.1' and are due release their first presummer single 'Funkfessions Pt.2' on 23rd of October 2022.

Receiving Auckland Music In Venues Funding for their efforts, BSF are celebrating these new releases with a headline festival style line up at Phoenix K'rd 'Kulay Ng Buhay' A Celebration of Arts & Music on the 11th of November.
