Currently based in Berlin, multi instrumentalist Michael Anderson possesses a repertoire of emotional acoustic ballads, layered with flute melodies, choral vocals and coloured bass lines.
His EP, 'Wishful Thinking' (May 2025) tells the hopeful story of a young, confused man navigating the rollercoaster of his 20s in the modern age.

Michael’s debut solo single, amassed over 50,000 streams in its first 3 months. His sophomore single with renowned UK Producer Peter Lyons saw his music reach audiences in 73 countries. Michael's talents aren't confined to the studio either; from 2012 he was selected as one of the four flautists nationwide for the NZ National KBB Orchestra which included a tour to the USA. This coupled with multiple national tours and countless festival badges playing bass in various artist projects as well as solo gigs across a range of historic venues across London solidifies Michaels place as a prominent and passionate world touring musician/artist.

In the heart of Kiwi music, Mikey has left an indelible mark, contributing his musical prowess to bands like The BackChat, Brown Sugar Factory, Kazia, Moon Dispute, KoeKoe, Remetik, Villette, Enla Arbodela and The Vibes. Notably, the Vibes secured third-place on the second season of The XFactor New Zealand, leading to a record deal with Sony Music and coveted slots at major festivals like Rhythm and Vines and Homegrown.
